Alopecia, commonly known as hair loss, can significantly impact an individual’s psychological well-being. Traditional treatments often come with limitations and adverse effects, leading to increased interest in natural alternatives. Phytochemicals—bioactive compounds derived from plants—are being investigated for their potential to promote hair growth and improve scalp health.

Key Plant-Based Ingredients for Hair Health

  1. Rosemary
    Rosemary oil has been extensively studied for its potential to enhance scalp circulation, stimulate hair follicles, and promote hair growth. In a comparative study, rosemary oil showed similar efficacy to minoxidil, a common over-the-counter treatment for hair loss, without the potential side effects of scalp irritation and dryness associated with synthetic products.
